Candy Heiland (she/her) lives and works in NYC. She earned her BFA from Ball State University with a BFA in Fiber Arts and a double minor in drawing and photography. Using black paper and oil pastels, Candy is able to capture the texture of weaving while exploring images of color, light and the subculture of Coney Island and New York City at night. Candy has worked in set design for the film industry since 1985.
