Tangie Murray (she/her) is a cultural strategist and social impact leader with over two decades of experience advancing equity through the arts, education, and community engagement. She is the founder of Ruby Owl, a boutique consultancy that helps brands, creatives, and institutions build meaningful partnerships rooted in cultural relevance and social responsibility.

Previously, Tangie served as Executive Director of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation, where she raised over $30 million to expand arts access for under-resourced communities. She later led the 4A’s Foundation, broadening its reach across industries to support diverse creative talent in advertising, tech, and entertainment. Her advisory work includes collaborations with the Apollo Theater, Black Rock Senegal, the NBA, and other leading institutions committed to creativity and inclusion.

Tangie holds a B.A. in Economics from UCLA and completed an Executive Leadership Program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. She brings to ART YARD BKLYN a lifelong belief in the power of the arts to build community, nurture creative confidence, and foster civic engagement.
