Monday we are back in action with ART YARD Advanced Studio on Zoom from 5:30-7:30pm. Tuesday evening we kick off ART YARD Advanced Studio In Person live at FiveMyles in Crown Heights, Brooklyn. ART YARD Art Matters at Brooklyn New School will also begin this week. While our other ART YARD Art Matters partnerships at PS 6 and PS 282 will follow soon.
We will install our exhibition The Way We See It at FiveMyles on Tuesday. The artists reception will be held Sunday September 19th from 4-6pm.
Please wear a mask while at FiveMyles and limit your Indoor visit to 15 minutes. For indoor events and gatherings the gallery is required to ask for proof of vaccination. There is plenty of outdoor space in front of FiveMyles to socialize.
Our book Shhh vs. The Courtroom in the Head (AKA) Stressing Less is now available on Amazon! We have copies for all participating artists and there will be copies available at FiveMyles.

Congratulations to ART YARD Teaching Artist Vera Tineo who has work included in LatinXhibit an exhibition highlighting the rich and diverse influence LatinX artists have on the history of American Art. This exhibit showcases artists from across the United States as well as featuring prominent and emerging local artists. On view at the Arts Center galleries, 301 Hay Street in downtown Fayetteville, NC from September 17- October 16, 2021.

If you happen to be near Glendale, California I am thrilled to have work included in Brand 49 a National Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper opening tomorrow from 7-9:30pm at Brand Library and Art Center.
To make it more exciting – I had a call last night to let me know that my piece included in the exhibition won the Associates Award!! The exhibition is on view through October 20, 2021.
